Mount Laurel Ceramic Braces
Show Off Your Smile,
Not Your Treatment
Get the straighter, healthier smile you’ve always wanted with clear braces from Ellis Orthodontics.
This braces system uses tooth-colored ceramic brackets instead of metal ones for an effective, more comfortable treatment that blends in with your smile.
A Clear Alternative to Traditional Braces
Clear braces work similarly to traditional metal braces — except they use ceramic brackets instead of metal ones that blend in with the color of your teeth for a more discreet treatment option.
Not only that — ceramic brackets are smaller and more rounded than traditional brackets for a more comfortable overall treatment.
Let’s take a look at these benefits in a little more detail:
Subtle Solution for More Radiant Smiles
Your friends, family, and coworkers are less likely to notice your ceramic brackets than they would traditional metal ones. That’s because clear braces use ceramic materials that match the natural color of your teeth for a more discreet treatment option.
Reliable Treatment for Effective Results
Clear braces are as effective as traditional braces and can treat virtually the same orthodontic issues with the same reliable, consistent results.
Smaller Brackets,
Bigger Comfort
Clear braces from Ellis Orthodontics use ceramic brackets that are smaller and more rounded than their metallic counterparts.
This reduces irritation to your lips and gums for a more comfortable overall smile journey.
The Rundown on Clear Braces vs Metal Braces
You may find yourself at a crossroads on which braces to get. While both metal braces and clear braces function the same and result in the same healthy smile, each treatment is better suited for varying needs and goals.
Check the following considerations to find the braces suited for you:
- You prefer a discreet orthodontic treatment: Clear braces are less noticeable than metal braces, thanks to natural-colored ceramic brackets. If you feel awkward about your braces attracting attention, clear ceramic braces might be the better option.
- You need to address more severe conditions: While both types of braces work the same way, metal braces are more often recommended for patients with complex orthodontic issues. They’re slightly stronger and more durable compared to ceramic braces, so they can handle bigger adjustments.
Still, the best way to determine the braces that will suit your unique needs is to schedule a free consultation and have Dr. Len Ellis assess your current bite and your smile goals.
How Clear Braces at Ellis Orthodontics Work
At Ellis Orthodontics, we want you to feel comfortable and confident throughout your entire smile journey — and that means knowing what to expect at every stage of treatment.
Meeting & Greeting
at Your First Consult
Dr. Ellis and the rest of our team will thoroughly evaluate your teeth and jaws and develop a personalized treatment plan. We’ll be with you every step of the way toward the healthier, straighter smile you’ve always wanted.
Personalizing Your
Treatment Plan
Getting clear braces starts with a comprehensive assessment. Dr. Ellis will use the latest orthodontic technology — including digital X-rays and iTero intraoral scanners — to capture digital impressions of your smile and create a full 3D model.
Dr. Ellis and our team will then use this digital mockup to develop a treatment plan that’s tailored to your unique needs.
Getting Your Clear Braces On
As soon as we’re done with the comprehensive assessment, Dr. Ellis will install your braces. He’ll carefully attach each of the ceramic brackets to your teeth before threading a medical-grade archwire through each bracket.
After your clear braces have been installed, Dr. Ellis will walk you through wearing your braces, and how to care for them.
Dropping By
for Regular Adjustments
Throughout the course of your treatment, you’ll stop by our Mount Laurel office for adjustments. Dr. Ellis will check your smile progress according to your customized treatment plan.
If something isn’t going according to plan, he’ll discuss it with you and the course of action we should take. By showing up to your periodic appointments, we can ensure that your treatment stays on track.
Keeping Your Progress
for Longer
Once you’re done with your clear braces, congratulations! But before you flash your smile, we’ll need to help your teeth get used to their new positions.
We’ll create a customized set of retainers to prevent your teeth from drifting back into their original positions to help ensure the progress you’ve worked so hard for will last a lifetime.
